Yooooooo. what it do readers? I know I've been gone for a few weeks but I came back to update ya'll about what I been up to. It's definitely been a busy month. First off, I want to apologize for not dropping the new project C.I.G.A.R.S yet. The finishing touches are taking a little longer than planned but the project will be hitting your speakers for sure in Feb. I guess that's not too bad since it will be Black History Month anyway (Thumbs Up). Be on the lookout and I will be sure to keep you updated. So much has already taken place in the New Year. I've been to video shoots, birthday parties, mansion parties, shows, etc. Big shout out to all those I have run into or worked with so far this year. My homie Cali Kidd has a dope video coming out soon so be on the lookout for that. Much love to my dawg Mike The Connect who recently had a birthday. We turned up at Secret Sundayz that night which was off the chain. Big ups to The Money Team, DJ Mark Da Spot, DJ Jay Bling, Big Bull, and Lil Jamez, Speaking of which, keep your eyes and ears open for the upcoming single from Lil Jamez called "Condoms and Commas" produced by upcoming super producer Lil Brudda. The song is Fire!!! My Hood Horkerz fam just sponsored a huge mansion party in Beverly Hills for Rapper 4-Tay's Playa's Club weekend/video shoot. Shit was dope!!! I can name a bunch of other events that have taken place so far but let's keep it moving shall we?? This year, I plan on doing a lot more live shows. I recently did a show with my dawg Sirr Jones at a place called Cuban Pete's in Downtown Long Beach. It was a show that he was booked for but he asked me to come to perform a song that I did with him called "Drinking All Day." I had a good time and Sirr Jones is a funny mutha*****. That's my dawg for real. Every time I hit the stage it reminds me of how much fun it is to write a song, record it, and then perform it in front of a crowd to see what the reactions are. You will definitely know after performing if your song is dope or not. Those who know me know that I am a down to earth type person who is more quiet and laid back at most times but once I hit that stage, it is a completely different world. It's almost like a different person is up there commanding the stage. I look at it as going either one of two ways; 1. I go up there and fuck up by freezing and being nervous or 2. I get up there and smash that shit so that people want to hear and see more. You can always plan and practice how you want a performance to go but everything does not always go according to plan. A true professional can work through any unexpected circumstances. Believe me when I say this month has not gone by without its share of challenges. I am not one to dwell on the negatives in life so I will rarely if ever speak about them but I do like to remember what I go through to see how far I've come. It is definitely not easy living the way you want to live if you are used to thinking a certain way. The ability to take control of your mind is an amazing thing. I am definitely looking forward to living in the residual of the thoughts I have been keeping in my mind lately. The road less traveled is paved with questions that have difficult or no answers because few or none choose to take it. While traveling down this road I plan on finding and creating my own answers that will carry me into a future of success while I ignore the uncertainty that pulls at my pant leg. You never have to get ready if you stay ready. With that being said, know that I'm Ready!!!
